📈 Housing Inventory Reached a Post-Pandemic High in July 2024

Active listings were up 36.6% year-over-year, and 18.9% of homes saw price cuts—the highest share since October 2023. Homes are also spending more time on the market, with the typical property sitting for 50 days.

📍 Biggest inventory jumps: South (+47.6%) and West (+35.4%)
📉 Still below pre-pandemic levels: Midwest (-46.8%) and Northeast (-55.5%)
