The real estate industry continues to evolve with new technology designed to improve efficiency, streamline transactions, and enhance the customer experience. From AI-powered property insights to smarter leasing tools, here’s a look at some of the latest developments shaping the market.

Redy Expands Its Online Agent Marketplace

Redy, an online platform that connects home sellers with real estate agents, has officially launched in Atlanta, Dallas, Orlando, Phoenix, and San Diego. The company aims to give sellers more control over the process by allowing them to select agents and receive personalized proposals—with the added incentive of a cash reward just for listing their home.

One of Redy’s key features is its commitment to privacy. Home sellers’ personal, property, and contact information is not shared until they choose an agent. According to Redy co-founder and real estate agent Josh Altman, this model benefits both buyers and agents by creating a more competitive and transparent process.

“For the first time, sellers get paid cash to pick an agent; as a result, agents are directly invested in the sale,” said Altman. “This helps agents establish themselves in their local markets and level the playing field for listings.”

Yardi Introduces New Resident Services Bundle

Yardi, a leader in AI-powered real estate software, has rolled out a new resident services bundle designed to simplify the move-in process and improve the rental experience. Available through the RentCafe resident portal, this bundle offers a one-stop shop for renters to activate essential services like:

  • Security deposit alternatives

  • Renters’ insurance

  • Flexible rent payments

  • High-speed Wi-Fi

  • Fixed power plans

  • Complimentary rent reporting

Additionally, Yardi has announced plans for a resident rewards program launching later this year, which will include free rent reporting in partnership with IDIQ. This initiative is intended to help renters build credit through on-time payments without additional costs to property managers.

“Our mission has always been to help our clients provide exceptional resident experiences, and the move-in process plays an important role in delivering that experience,” said Akshai Rao, president of residential at Yardi.

CAPE Analytics and Vexcel Partner to Enhance Property Insights

CAPE Analytics, a leader in AI-driven property insights, has teamed up with Vexcel, a provider of high-resolution aerial imagery, to expand its capabilities in property risk assessment. Through this partnership, CAPE will integrate Vexcel’s orthomosaic aerial imaging to deliver more accurate and detailed risk analytics across the U.S., Canada, and Australia.

This collaboration aims to give insurance carriers, financial institutions, and property owners better tools to understand, manage, and mitigate property-level risk.

“CAPE Analytics’ long-term partnership with Vexcel marks a transformative step in enhancing our market-leading property intelligence solutions,” said Ryan Kottenstette, CEO of CAPE Analytics. “Powered by Vexcel’s extensive imagery coverage, CAPE will continue to deliver the most precise, reliable, and up-to-date property risk analytics available.”

MRI Software Launches New Multifamily Leasing Tool

MRI Software, a provider of real estate solutions, has introduced MRI Engage CRM, a new customer relationship management (CRM) and communications tool designed to help multifamily properties manage leasing and resident interactions more effectively.

This platform integrates with existing systems or functions as a standalone solution, offering:

  • A 360-degree view of resident interactions

  • Configurable prospect and resident guest cards

  • Integrated maintenance scheduling and service request management

According to John Ensign, president of MRI Software, many multifamily organizations struggle with complicated CRM systems that require extensive training. MRI Engage CRM was built to be user-friendly, comprehensive, and adaptable—giving leasing teams the tools they need to manage prospects and residents seamlessly.

Staying Ahead in Real Estate Tech

As technology continues to reshape the real estate landscape, platforms like Redy, Yardi, CAPE Analytics, and MRI Software are driving innovation and efficiency for buyers, sellers, renters, and industry professionals alike.
